Returning to Rancho is a wonderful pleasure, as is playing in bare feet for a sensitive and reflective audience. In the serene setting of the Oaktree Pavilion, I guess it shouldn’t be a surprise that Debussy won an overwhelming victory. What was surprising is that it was so unanimous. The only sub-group that was not fully Debussy was the final round, where the Prokofiev Toccata was able to muster just 50% of the vote! Looking forward to performing Bach Vs. Glass for this audience of deep meditators!
