Many circles were closed when I played this program in Recital Hall in Bloomington. This was the same stage and the same piano where I played the Prokofiev Toccata at age 19. Maybe that would partially explain the overwhelming victory of Prokofiev over Debussy - although it seems that Prokofiev has been winning more and more often this year.
