A special program just for the Elementary and Middle Schools of Dodge City brought together over 750 students into the gymnasium! There were only 3 rounds, but the essential contest was the same. Maybe it was the morning hour, maybe it was the age (although look at the results from last night in contrast!), maybe it was the sheer energy of the number of kids, but Prokofiev was the overwhelming winner, in all grades as well as overall. However, Round 2 did go to Debussy by a strong margin! I’d like to give a sincere thank you to the kids for being such amazing listeners and participants. Bravo to all of you and your teachers!
