Many circles were closed when I played this program in Recital Hall in Bloomington. This was the same stage and the same piano where I played the Prokofiev Toccata at age 19.
Maybe that would partially explain the overwhelming victory of Prokofiev over Debussy - although it seems that Prokofiev has been winning more and more often this year.

I’ve been surprised recently about how some composers lived during the same time frame. Debussy & Prokofiev, I didn’t even consider.
You conveyed intensity without confusing it with speed.
Prokofiev Rules!
Debussy feels like the handsome, faithful boyfriend; Prokofiev is the dashing, moody, pensive rebel bad boy I’m secretly in love with.
Turned out that I’m a fan of Debussy!
