This was a command repeat performance of the summertime preview Smackdown. Debussy and Prokofiev facing off in the short version of the program: Round 1 - Debussy’s Suite Bergamasque, Prokofiev’s Lt Kije Suite. Round 2 - Prokofiev 2 Sarcasms and a Fugitive Vision, Debussy Cloches a travers les feuilles, Jardin sous la pluie. Round 3 Debussy Reverie, Prokofiev Toccata.

This second time at Mohonk, the voting results were:

Debussy: 37

Prokofiev: 22
